While waiting for nightfall to capture the Milky Way, I hiked around the desert exploring. The Bureau of Land Management contracts with local cattle ranchers Open Grazing rights. Turns out under 75% of dried out cow pies resides a Scorpion. Also turns out there were dozens of cow pies in my campsite for two nights. Yeah! I only took a few pics and let them be. Then at night I captured the Scorpio constellation in the southern sky!
