Full Moon Setting in Belt of Venus in Tucson AZ: This is an annual photo opportunity, every August the day length is such that the Moon sets in the Belt of Venus (Earth's shadow). If it is a clear morning such as this one it is a beautiful sight of the orange Moon setting behind the mountains to the southwest seen from my backyard. The Earth shadow gives a vibrant contrast sky to the orange Moon on this date.
