Arcturus of Bootes constellation is located at a distance of 36.7 light years from Earth. This is one of the brightest stars along with Vega and Sirius in our Sun’s neighborhood.
It is said to have likely exhausted its hydrogen core and is currently in its hydrogen shell burning phase.
