Nikon D5600 with a Sigma 17-50mm lens. The photo was taken at manual, at 8 seconds, at F2.8 with an ISO 0f 5000. The lens was set at 50mm.
In camera cropping for size.
I was at Frazier Park, far from the lights of Los Angeles and with an elevation of 8,000 feet, was able to see the Andromeda Galaxy: M31. At 2.5 million light years from Earth, it is the nearest galaxy to our Milky Way.
