Moon, Saturn and Iridescent Clouds.

On 24th July Full moon night, moon and saturn came close to one another in the sky (about 4 degrees apart, the diameter of around 8 full moons). In this image, saturn can be seen towards the left of the image. During moonrise, here in Kolkata, India, the sky had clouds. Clouds, although not a good thing to have for lunar photography most of the times, turned out to be a blessing this time. It showed beautiful colours of rainbow, also known as Iridescent Clouds, thanks to the bright shine of moon. Iridescent clouds are mostly seen in daytime, getting a glimpse of them at night is considered to be pretty rare, especially with this much variation in colours. I was lucky enough to be able to see and capture them.
