Waning Gibbous Moon at 99.5% luminance. We had clear skies after a while. Not a single cloud today. As the moon rose above the horizon, It was unbelievably red and dark, almost maroon colored. It got brighter and assumed lighter shades of red as it climbed the sky. We are still experiencing the smokescreen effect from the wildfires up north.
