Blue petals and looking like a small yellow-brown flowers sterile stamens of an asiatic dayflower (Commelina communis). Below them on the left are long "true" stamens with anthers, and on the right is a pistil. According to Wikipedia, the blue petals has been used to produce blue dye for a long time in Japan. In China and India, the plant is used as medicinal herb and as a vegetable and fodder crop.
