This picture was taken from my smartphone. The waxing gibbous moon seen near the constellation of Scorpio. Part of the Lupus - The Wolf constellation could also be seen in this photo which is one of the 48 constellations listed by the 2nd-century astronomer Ptolemy, and it remains one of the 88 modern constellations. The moon was 91 % full inching to a full moon in 2 days. Sagittarius is not seen in this photo which is on the left side of the moon.
