Mark Murray

E&S Board of Directors

Mark Murray is one of the Board of Directors of Earth & Sky, Inc., the non-profit organization that conducts many of our more educational activities. He helps guide those activities and keeps us true to our mission of being a clear voice for science. Mark is also Chief Meteorologist at the television station KVUE in Austin, Texas. Born in Wisconsin and raised in Colorado, Mark first became interested in weather as a career in 1979, when a tornado took aim at a radio station where he was working. Seeing such a powerful force of nature so close led him to a degree in meteorology.
