Image Details:

The image was captured from the White Desert of Egypt. It's a 500km drive to get to our campsite under pristine bortle 1 skies. The following 2 nights I moved to a lodge a little closer to civilization (bortle 2) where I resumed my imaging sessions. It was the first light for my new 180mm telescope, and I chose this region of the sky to make best use of this wide focal length.
The Cygnus region is always intriguing to me, housing numerous gems among an epic sea of Ha nebulosity. Just look at the Crescent nebula seemingly resting on a bed of fire.
