I toned down the stars so that the galaxies would be more obvious
I have been thinking about this image for well over a year since reading about Markarian's Chain. I finally got around to it. I also encourage you to look at an image recently posted by Ron Haggett (https://earthsky.org/earthsky-community-photos/entry/66123/). This pic shows what can be done with more sophisticated equipment. My picture is rotated about 110 degrees clockwise from his pic. The night sky sure is an interesting place!
