Image Details:

I was just out fooling around early in the evening (before daylight savings changed). I took 90 pics but only 18 were usable. It turned out to be enough to get a pretty good picture of the Flame Nebula and the Tadpoles Nebula (upper left). I almost cutoff the Tadpoles. Centering pics is much more challenging when you don't have a GoTo system. I actually kind of like it because it makes me understand where the stars and deep space objects are.

Part of my goal for astrophotography is to not spend a lot of money and to use almost regular photo equipment. This is a great example of what you can do (as long as you understand how to do the processing).

More fun in the skies at night.
