How low can you go! Here's Venus and the crescent Moon 20 minutes before sunrise. Venus is only 10 degrees above the horizon and the Moon is at 7.
Mars and Mercury are to the lower left of Venus, but with the clutter and the bright sky they aren't visible. Lower ISO settings of 200 and 100 brought out more of the colors of the twilight sky, but this photo, taken a bit earlier before I tried lower sensitivity levels, shows Venus best.
