shadows highlights in Photoshop, clarity in Affinity

The sun has been out for over 4 hours now but the icicles on tree branches still hang beautifully. A crow came to perch briefly while I was taking pictures of the winter scene. The wind is blowing strong and the air is quite cold from the freezing rains earlier.
