I have probably taken a 1000 pics of Barnard's loop this season and this is my best so far. The part I most like about this pic is that at 67mm both the Rosette Nebula and the Witch Head nebula (faint in upper right) are included in the photo. It can be a lot of work to get the pic you really want and at 67mm I think I found the one I like the most. It sure can be nice to have some zoom lenses with which to experiment. In this case I actually cropped the pic a little so next time I should try something in the 70-75mm range. I think I will save that for next year. This hobby is both challenging and fun.
