.While walking on the Five Rivers Environmental Education trails, I was surprised to see a pair of River Otters hanging out at one of the ponds. Otters are the largest member of the weasel family. They spend two-thirds of the time on land, can dive to a depth of 60 feet, and can hold their breath for up to 8 minutes while under water. It was fun watching them swim back and dining on bullhead fish.
