Image Details:

The Coathanger is an asterism comprised of 10 bright stars that looks like it's namesake. It is also known as Collinder 399 (Cr 399) and Brocchi's Cluster. This is fantastic target for visually observing with a pair of binoculars. It is bright and easy to find as it located in the Summer Triangle, which is almost overhead at dark. Had a brief window to image on 8/19. Sky conditions were not the best (transparency was poor due to high wispy clouds passing through). Note the small open cluster, NGC 6802, to the left of the horizontal section of The Coathanger.
