Image Details:

The effects of the Sun on Comet 2023 P1 Nishimura. The tail of Comet P1 Nishimura is amazing. There is posted imagery showing the effects of the Solar wind and coronal mass ejections producing discontinuities in the tail. To analyze the data I captured my color images were converted to grey scale and subjected further computer enhancement. The results are striking, the tail shows disconnected portions, other portions appear aggregated and then pushed by Solar wind especially visible in the inverted image. The tail of 2023 P1 is one of the most remarkable I have seen or imaged. The comet just discovered recently is major bonus transient event of 2023.
