Story
On the night of 12-13 August 2023, together with my wife Anzhelika and my friend and also photographer Esteban, we decided to photograph the Perseids at 'Las Corbeteras de Pajaroncillo', some impressive rock formations.

We arrived at the place and found a perfect position to capture the Perseids with the rocks in the foreground.
However, the magic moment occurred in the early hours of the morning.

At 2:24 AM, while using my second camera, Canon EOS R, a Canon RF 85mm lens and a Benro Polaris tracker, to photograph the Andromeda galaxy, a bright and explosive Perseid passed right in front of the galaxy, taking our breath away. The intensity of the meteor as it entered the atmosphere was so intense that it illuminated the surrounding landscape, leaving a trail of light across the sky that lasted for several seconds.
