Image Details:

I saw on a weather app the a storm was heading for the Tucson area. I packed up my gear and headed up to Sentinel Peak hoping to get some lightning pictures. While the storm was stingy with visible lightning bolts, it kept building over the center of town. It then unleashed this incredible microburst that dumped a huge amount of rain in short period of time. Shortly after taking this pic, those of us up on Sentinel Peak were hit with outflow from the storm. The winds were easily 40-50 mph. At that point it was time to scramble home. Driving through hail wasn't a pleasant experience.
