Mercury and Regulus form Close Pair.
On Friday 28th July, Mercury and Regulus formed a close pair in the vicinity of bright Venus with Mars above – more information at This Southern hemisphere view of the trio with the Leo star Algieba to the right was taken from Mutare at 6.14 pm with a fading volcanic sunset behind Christmas Pass illuminating thin high cloud above Transmitter Hill.
