Slight adjustments on the brightness, contrast and shadow using the phones' built in photo editor.

This photo shows the Planet Venus on the lower right taken before noontime in my area.
To get the general location I used Stellarium mobile app.
To get a pinpoint (exact location) in the sky I used a built in app. on my phone which is Expert Raw Mode (Astro Phitography). It showed a sky guide map based on where my phones' camera was pointing at the sky.
Then I was able to locate the position of Venus and the sun which was a few degree higher.
Finally, just to clarify, I wasn't looking directly at the screen on my phone (my face was away from the sun) and I made several overhead random shots as best as I could with the hope that at least one photo would capture Venus.
This is the best composition among the photos that I captured.
