Iridescence over the pyramid of Etna 15th meridian East.
The pyramidal structure stands at the point crossed by the 15th meridian East of Greenwich, which passes near the central crater of Etna.
The pyramid is located on the slope
south of the volcano, in the area in front of the Rifugio Sapienza at about 1,910 meters a.s.l.
On each of the four faces of the solid there are sundials and notions of astronomy while the fourth cardinal points and the meridian line are indicated on the ground.
On July 2nd at 15:50 I was there and suddenly I noticed some solar iridescence right above the pyramid.
