Supermoon clamming. This cub is trying to push mom away from a razor clam she dug. The mother bear would share some but most often ate the clams herself. These cubs are still nursing so they are well fed. The cubs are learning how to clam and making them want clams is encouragement to learn. The Supermoon low tide that opens vast tidal flats to clamming and the morning light was nearly perfect.
