Image Details:

I was just getting onto a small bridge when I saw an Osprey fly onto a nest above me, with a fish. They were so close that I stood in my car to get some shots, so I wouldn't disturb them. I couldn't get all four together, so I used two pics. The babies look pretty young. The Ospreys are a Conservation success story. Due to the use of pesticides & chemicals like DDT, in the 50's & 60's, the poulations were threatened in North America. Most populations were able to recover after the ban of these substances.
