I planned to do some nightscaping to scope out a future milky way shoot later this month when the moon cycle is optimal. My camera is pointed west at the start of nautical twilight to catch the bright star Venus, upper right, and Mars, to the left of it. Peaceful evening doing what I love under the night sky.
