I took these photos on May 26, 2023, during sunset.

From where I stood, I saw big and thick grayish-white clouds above Burangrang (left) and Tangkuban Perahu (right), 2 of the many mountains in Lembang, north part of Bandung, the capital city of West Java, Indonesia.

While the setting sun had almost disappeared behind the trees around Burangrang valley, the huge clouds between Burangrang and Tangkuban Perahu mountains slowly moved away from the sun, left the upper edge which gradually transformed into a sculptural glowing human face, highlighted by the rays of setting sun.

Still in awe to that phenomenal view, then I saw a crescent moon appeared amongst the drifting wispy clouds in front of the "face cloud"...as if they were greeting each other.

The moon was so tiny compared to the whole "face cloud" which seemed to be wearing long wavy hair/wigs and a super huge robe, hung down to the earth.

I thought I was looking at a masterpiece sky art at that moment 👍🌄🌜☁️💙

Historically, there used to be Mount Sunda, but it erupted and formed two mountains, namely Mount Burangrang and Tangkuban Perahu.
