For white light image: Celestron 150mm f/5 reflector with Baader film solar filter, ZWO ASI533MC camera, SkyWatcher EQ6R mount. For hydrogen alpha: Lunt 40mm solar telescope, Player One Apollo-M Mini camera, SkyWatcher Star Adventurer mount.
For white light image: Best 75 of 1500 SER frames were stacked with AutoStakkert. For hydrogen alpha: Best 300 of 3000 SER frames were stacked with AutoStakkert. Registax was used for wavelets. Other post-processing with Photoshop and MS Photo. False color was added in Photoshop.
There were 8 sunspot groups visible on the Sun today, which are best seen in the white light image on the left. The largest of these is AR3282 (top left). The hydrogen alpha image on the right shows numerous prominences and filaments as well as the 8 sunspot groups and areas of plage.
