Equipment Details:

Google Pixel 4 XL cell phone.

Post-processing Details:

Hired a crop duster airplane to sky write this important message....uuhh....Okay, no I didn't....it's photoshopped. lol!

The rest of the image is straight out of the cell phone with minimal cropping.

Image Details:

The sandstone structure is just across the dirt road from Solomon's Temple in The Last Chance Desert of southern Utah. As far as I know it isn't named but is very impressive in person. I find much peace and solitude in this location, much like when I go mountain climbing but easier and a shorter hike. Here's the google maps link if you want to see it. Warning: I added pics of me hiking around it with my desert lizard companions.

The message is for all of us enjoying EarthSky.org community.

I'm fairly sure every person who visits, especially the regular contributors to the Community Photos portion of ES.org, know this site is one of the best. What makes it so?

No DRAMA, no negativity, nothing but good vibes found here. IMHO, this site has made my day every time I visit, whether I post or not. We are a global community sharing commonalities, interests and fabulous images from wherever we are.

For instance, will I as an American EVER get to visit Iran? VERY doubtful.

But Hassan Dadashi . arani, a faithful contributor, brings Iran to me via his images everyday! A lot of them of the mountain terrain in his country look ...just...like...my mountains and desert.

The same goes for Kannan in Singapore...fabulous bird & astro pics from 8,856 miles away.

And on and on the list goes. Just like today's page - every single contributor is amazing. Dozens of names come to mind.

Another - Those guys in the Egyptian desert capturing the night sky are "NatGeo" every time!

And that's not even the tip of iceberg.

Let's show our support for EarthSky.org and keep this fantastic site going.

Like the pic says "Donate now!" I did ... you can, too.
