A male Oregon Junco, also called Black-eyed Junco is perched on a Pacific myrtle tree keeping steady in the strong winds. The Oregon Junco is distinguished from other juncos by the male's pinkish-brown sides and black head; the female's head is gray. All juncos have a pink bill and white outer tail feathers.
