Nikon Z9 with Rokinon 85mm lens
Composite of 35 meteor frames captured between 00:39-04:54 while the moon was approximately 68% illuminated. Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop.
The Smithsonian's MMT Observatory on top of Mount Hopkins, in southern Arizona, was hidden in clouds until 45 minutes after the 68% illuminated moon broke the local horizon. Lots of Geminid meteors were visible for the rest of the night despite the bright moonlight. This is a composite image of 35 meteors photographed between 00:39-04:54.
