iTelescope T72 and T17
Photoshop
Amazingly Dimorphos still has a dust trail nearly two months after the DART impact. This image shows a sequence beginning 17 h after impact through November 20th nearly two months later. These images were acquired with iTelescope instruments in Australia initially and then Chile as the asteroid movement required shifting telescopes to continue to follow its progress, All of the images are stacks of 180 sec subs. It will be very interesting to the see the damage when the follow up probe reaches Dimorphos which unfortunately is not soon.
