Sony a7Sii and Samyang fisheye 8mm f2.8 on a tripod, no tracking mount.
Single frame RAW processing in Sony Imaging Edge only.
I set up a 480 frame timelapse sequence of the winter triangle & Mars late one night in my backyard, went to sleep for 3 hours and came out to retrieve the gear. Did not even notice the bolide south of the Orion in 1 frame towards the end of the sequence until I was doing the timelapse video. This is the biggest meteor I have ever captured on an image since becoming interested in astrophotography just 5 years ago. Location: suburb of Thepsathit district, Chaiyaphum province, Thailand. Bortle class 4 . http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=546176900848155
