Image Details:

Last night a raging storm swept through the Seattle area with heavy rain and 50 mph wind gusts. In the early morning, after the storm blew past, the skies cleared and seeing was phenomenal. I just bought a Star Adventurer GTi mount and have been testing it out, so I started with my telescope and zoomed in on Orion's belt. I only took 7 5-minute exposures (35 minutes total) but it was enough for a crisp, clean image. Encouraged by this, I switched to my mirrorless camera to grab all of Orion with 30 60-second exposures. The wide angle to the left shows the area zoomed in on the right.
