This year we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Minnesota Astronomical Society by once again having our lunar module mock-up set up at our Eagle Lake Observatory. We first built and displayed the module in July 2019 for the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing.

Our next events are Friday, September 30th and Saturday, October 1st when we are also observing Fall Astronomy Day, the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 17 mission and International Observe the Moon night. On Saturday, we have a full day of speakers planned, our lunar module mock-up on display, door prize drawing and laser tour of the night sky.
