Nikon D850 14-24 f/2.8 at f/7.1, ISO400, 7 exposures at 4min each
The seven 4 minute exposures were taken as the quarter moon moved behind Grand Teton and combined in StarStax. The small f-stop was used to minimize the number of visible stars which is desired under the very dark sky in Grand Teton National Park.
String Lake is located at the base of the Tetons and affords a view of the Grand Teton and sister peaks to the south. The still water of the lake allows for miror like refections, perfect for star trails.
