Mikado Pheasant (scientific name is Syrmaticus mikado), also known as Taiwan mikado pheasant and Black Long-tailed Pheasant, is a bird of the genus Long-tailed pheasant unique to Taiwan. Birds that inhabit the highest altitudes. The mikado pheasant has pure black feathers with purple-blue metallic brilliance, and the tail feathers have obvious white horizontal stripes. It often appears in the fog. On July 4, I was on a 2,500-meter-high mountain, and saw a mikado pheasant appear in the fog.
