A peregrine falcon on a tall almost vertical cliff. The peregrine falcon is a medium sized raptor with a keen eyesight and when it spots a meal from high up it will launch into a steep dive (known as a “stoop”) and snatch the other bird out of the air. The falcon’s speed during these dives has been clocked at 200 mph (322 kph), making it the fastest bird on earth. They are found on every continent except Antarctica
