Nikon Coolpix P900
A razor thin waning crescent moon at 2.6% illumination that had earlier risen from the east. This picture was taken about 45 mins before the sunrise in the same direction. Today is the last day where the moon was still visible and marks the eve of the Lunar New Year celebrated by the Chinese. The day here is observed on a new moon day which falls on 1st and 2nd February this year. This moon during the predawn hour taken this morning was so beautiful and clearly visible in the night skies. It was about 362,559 km away from Earth.
