This waning crescent (4.9%) rose about 606am but it usually takes some 45 minutes to clear the trees where we live. It was a short opportunity as once the sun cleared the horizon it was overwhelmed and disappeared from view. Shot in the stunning gradient we know as Venus' Belt just before sunrise.
