Image Details:

My wife and I set out for a morning walk today and saw the (nearly) full moon low in the sky. We were amazed and puzzled to see lines across the face of the moon, looking as though it was cracked in two. I took a number of photos, hoping to find out what could cause this phenomenon. As we watched, the lines moved slowly from right to left. The attached pic is the first I took, and I will send the final shot with another upload shortly. I promise that I have not done any processing or photoshop work on the images, they are as shot, not reduced in size, and straight off the memory card. We would be interested to hear any suggestions! Many thanks and best wishes, Roger.
