Very minimal photo enhancement

The Pacific reef heron (egretta sacra) preens its feathers, its plumage and bill aglow with a slightly golden hue from ambient sunlight. In this posture, this usually solitary, highly territorial bird reveals a more gentle, vulnerable and graceful side to its nature.
