Image Details:

A group of moon photos taken in July 2021. The upper left is the full moon July 23 when the moon was near its largest diameter in July and 227,810 miles from Earth. And the last moon at the lower right was the 3rd quarter moon of July 31 when it was near its smallest for the month (249,999 miles from Earth). These are presented at the same scale. So not only is the moon less illuminated each day, but the moon is also getting smaller in diameter as seen from Earth. I was lucky, and even with all the rainy days, I was able to get a clear shot of the moon every day for this sequence.
