Waited to see the waning crescent moon shimmering low in the red twilight during sunrise and there it glowed and appeared as a razor-thin crescent. Of the many shots that I had taken this morning , some of which shows the morning sun rays protruding outwards from below this moon, a close up scene of the moon captivated me. From this picture, if one looked closely enough , the moon could be seen in its full form. As the morning sun is directly below the moon, the thin orange hue could be seen at the bottom of the moon. Besides a full moon episode, the razor thin moon is also something phenomenal and one must view it within minutes, otherwise it will be lost in the rising sun's glare. Today's moon direction was 68.66° ENE↑ and moon altitude at 23.84°. Distance of the moon from earth was 405,922 km. The moon will not be visible here tomorrow morning and the next new moon is on 10 June 2021 here in the evening, however it is only expected to be visible in the evening of 11 June 2021 as the moon will be in the sun's glare on 10 June. In the foreground of this picture is a lightning conductor on the roof of a flat.
