Flower moon climbing in the eastern sky. It is still in the waxing gibbous phase. It would reach full moon phase after the local moonset time in the morning. The brightness and the golden glow of the ascending super moon was something for the books! It was totally worth the wait and anticipation. This is the actual color of the moon. No filters added. I can only imagine how spectacular the super blood moon might have looked in the morning sky, to all the observers that could see the total eclipse.
