Image Details:

The Waxing Gibbous Moon at 78.2% illumination seen in Singapore directly overhead when the sun had just set in the North West. The moon was 368, 414 km away from Earth and usually at this phase, the moon Mare and Craters are clearly visible when taken with a telephoto lens or camera. I had made some minor contrast adjustments to reflect the details. The moon never fail to amuse me, no matter how many times I see it. I must thank Earthsky for giving each contributor an opportunity to showcase their photos and am grateful for the gesture. There is a lot that I have learnt from many contributors and each and everyone are talented with their immerse knowledge in Astronomy and the Cosmos.
