The summer triangle signals warmer weather. It's made up of 3 bright stars-Vega, Altair and Deneb-of 3 different constellations. Vega is the brightest star in Lyra The Harp, Altair the brightest in Aquila The Eagle, Deneb in Cygnus The Swan. In this photo, the 3 stars frame a large part of The Milky Way. The greenish yellow hue middle and lower right in the photo is due to airglow. Airglow is almost invisible to the naked eye but the cameras capture it in green, yellow, red, sometimes blue. I used a flash light to light up the trees on the lower left.
