Taken about half an;hour after sunset, a little east of south on Ruane Road, Newton, a Boston suburb with plenty light pollution. Sirius, the dog star of Canis Major. It was still too bright to see any other stars, but just popped up, clear. I have no illusions about resolving any further with my iPhone, I am still impressed at the focus, despite my shaky fingers.
