The blue-crowned hanging parrot (Loriculus galgulus). This is a male identified by its bright green overall plumage with dark blue crown patch, reddish breast patch, small yellow patch on mantle just below the nape, yellow band on rump, reddish uppertail-coverts, blackish bill and dark eyes. Took this just outside my window when the bird was sucking the nectar from the flowers of the Golden Penda tree.
