Mercury Setting at Last Light
Mercury has now risen far enough above the setting Sun to become visible above the last glow of sunset. Clear sky on Monday evening allowed Mercury to be observed above Murahwa Mountain from 40 minutes after sundown until just before it set at last light. As the sky darkened the bright evening star Spica and others from the constellations Virgo and Corvus appeared above it.
